OpTic Gaming of North America has signed Jovanni “Jovi” Vera as assistant coach of its VALORANT roster after the team won the VCT Masters. He helped the team win the VCT Masters with coach Chet Singh. OpTic beat the VCT Masters after a 3-0 victory over the Brazillian LOUD in the big final.

Jovanni “Jovi” Vera also coached 100 Thieves for two months and left in March. He was replaced by former Counter-Strike player who transferred to VALORANT and commentator Sean “seangares” Gares. Seangares is joined by Michael “Mikes” Hockom as assistant coach and Daniel “ddk” Kapadia as general manager, as revealed by 100 Thieves on March 22.
