Krafton has captured BGMI as the official acronym for Battlegrounds Mobile India with a new logo unveiled today. Battlegrounds Mobile India was released in July to replace PUBG Mobile, which was banned in the country in September 2020 due to privacy concerns. Shortly after the ban, Krafton announced that it would accept responsibility for publishing the game in India and released BGMI, while the game was identical to PUBG Mobile, with some differences. Like green blood and pre-match warning messages that prompt players to “take frequent breaks”.
