Fortnite x Doctor Who: Leaks reveal a possible collaboration coming soon
Fortnite the famous battle royale from Epic Games apart from the explosive gameplay it offers also features crazy collaboration events in the game which come with their own set of an extensive collection of cosmetic items. They have already collaborated with famous shows like Dragon Ball Z and My Hero Academia amongst many others. However, there were rumors of a possible collaboration with Doctor Who, and now according to the latest leaks, this time, reportedly Fortnite is finally gearing up for a collaboration with the hit show.

One of the dataminers of Fortnite named iFireMonkey has tweeted about this where he has come across a new concept image while going through the database of the game which shows a new in-development picture of the lobby with a TARDIS-specific screen that might be made live during the anticipated Doctor Who collaboration.

It has recently been brought to my attention that there have been discussions in regards to a potential collaboration between Fortnite and Doctor Who.

It is also stated by the leaker that the event might be similar to the Dragon Ball event which took place in August 2022 where a whole tab was dedicated just to the event and players could earn Power Level by completing different challenges. The higher the level was, the better the cosmetic rewards were and they were also free of cost.

iFireMonkey also gave more details, especially on an emote and a bundle sale. According to the leaks, if sales in this event are strong, Epic Games is considering selling a real-money Doctor Who Bundle named The Drums Bundle in the future, followed by a final emote reward in the U.N.I.T Code Red event called the Sonic Showoff which will be sold in the bundle once the event ends.
The dataminer also claimed that he expects the collaboration to release during the 60th anniversary of the popular show which is in November 2023 as Epic Games is known for hosting special events around
famous TV shows during their special milestones and rewarding the players with cosmetics based on the shows along with many other things.

However, as per latest reports, it appears that the long-rumored Fortnite X Doctor Who collaboration has been postponed from November to a TBA date. The DW team expects that it will be launched in December if the story is true, but nothing is guaranteed.
