Thai organization Talon Esports has unveiled its VALORANT roster for the inaugural season of the APAC international league next year.

Patiphan Chaiwong, a former Overwatch player, is leading the group of six players that Talon Esports has signed. In 2020, Patiphan quit Overwatch to pursue a career in VALORANT, but he later joined the Los Angeles Gladiators in the Overwatch League.

However, Patiphan has returned since leaving Overwatch on September 22 and been therefore released from the Gladiators.

Talon Esports, which joined VALORANT at the beginning of the year, has added Patiphan to its roster along with former XERXIA members Thanamethk “Crws” Mahatthananuyut, Panyawat “sushiboys,” and Itthirit “foxz” Ngamsaard.

The roster for VCT 2023 is finished by Apiwat “garnetS” Apiraksukumal and Jittana “JitboyS” Nokngam.

The VCT 2023 kick-off competition, which will start in February and end at the beginning of March, will feature Talon Esports as a competitor. The 30 paired teams from across the globe will face off in competition.

The victor of the opening event, which will take place in So Paulo, Brazil, will receive a second spot for their respective area in the VCT Masters later in the year.

Talon Esports will compete against other partnered teams including T1, Gen.G, DRX, DetonatioN Gaming, Paper Rex, Team Secret, and more when the APAC international league split begins at the end of March.
