Nintendo Switch’s new OLED models go on sale worldwide in less than a week, with at least 11 companies, including Zynga, working on 4K game projects after being licensed by Nintendo to produce games. 4K for Nintendo Switch.

Switch’s OLED models do not support 4K images, and Nintendo has yet to introduce a “Switch Pro” capable of high-performance 4K gaming. The high-performance model is powered by an Nvidia system-on-chip GPU using DLSS, which will be capable of running 4K games and high framerate.

Nintendo said it was planning for a more robust piece of hardware to be up and running soon, but the lack of components is affecting consoles and technology.
