Dell was leading the global original equipment manufacturers (OEM) during the first quarter of 2021, as its PC business grew amid an outbreak of the virus.

Lenovo and HP’s PC business saw strong demand last year, with strong growth in the first quarter, according to Business ResearchDell Technologies.

TBR Attendance Manager and senior analyst Angela Lambert said revenue from OEMs increased significantly compared to the first quarter of 2019, with Dell up 22 percent to $ 13.3 billion.

The booming PC market comes as Dell grossed $ 24.5 billion for the first quarter, surpassing the same quarter in 2020 and 2019.
