Asus recently launched the ROG Phone 7 series, which, like every year, boasts top-of-the-line hardware and various gaming-centric features, including AirTrigger ultrasonic air shoulder controls. As with previous years, it is expected that the company will follow up the series with the D series. According to a new report, the Asus ROG Phone 7D is set to debut in a couple of months in China, followed by other regions.

Asus ROG Phone 7D and 7D Ultimate could get MediaTek processors

A Newzonly reports claims that the Asus ROG Phone 7D and 7D Ultimate will be launched in August this year. The smartphones will initially be made available in China with a later launch in other regions.

As per the report citing tipster Paras Guglani, the Asus Rog Phone 7D will have model numbers: AI2301_A and AI2301_C, while the model numbers, AI2301_B and AI2301_D, will belong to the higher-end variant, the Asus Rog Phone 7D Ultimate. Furthermore, the report suggests that the upcoming Rog Phone 7D series will be equipped with Dimensity 9000+ Series chipsets, which could be the Dimensity 9200+ chipset.

Additionally, it is expected that the high-end variant of the Rog Phone 7D will come with a massive 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage.

To remind you, the ROG Phone 7 and 7 Ultimate feature a 6.78-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protecting the front. The phones are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU and are equipped with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of non-expandable storage. The ROG Phone 7 series runs on the Android 13-based ROG UI.
