Mark Zuckerberg has confirmed that Meta has just entered into the Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA), which is an extension of its intellectual property rights as well as protected from litigation, according to Mark Zuckerberg’s leaked message on the account. His official on Facebook.

By joining this alliance, Meta will be able to use technologies such as cryptocurrency creation, cryptocurrency mining, storing, cryptocurrency trading, payments, open or secure cryptocurrency. Not only that, Meta patents will be open for free for everyone to use as well.

The COPA Alliance was first formed in September 2020 by Block’s Jack Dorsey, former Twitter CEO, to encourage innovation to reduce cryptocurrency patent disputes.
